Cedar City: Travel Packing Tips

Typical Weather:  

• Mild temperatures
• Ranging from the 50s to 70s°F (10-25°C) during the day. 
• Evenings can be cooler, dropping to the 30s-40s°F (0-10°C)

What to Pack: 

• Layers: Light sweaters, long-sleeve shirts, and a medium-weight jacket for cooler evenings.
• Rain Gear: Spring can be rainy, so pack a waterproof jacket and umbrella (optional).
• Comfortable Shoes: For exploring the outdoors, pack hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers.

Note: We have umbrellas at the house for guests to use.

• Sun Protection: A wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and lip balm with SPF.
• Swimwear: If you plan to visit nearby lakes or hot springs.
• Hydration Gear: A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.

• Cooler temperatures, with daytime highs in the 60s-70s°F (15-25°C) and cooler nights, sometimes dipping into the 30s°F (0°C).

What to Pack: 

• Layers: Similar to spring, with sweaters, light jackets, and long pants.
• Sturdy Shoes: Great for hiking and exploring fall foliage.
• Warm Accessories: A scarf, gloves, and a hat may be needed for early morning or late evening outings.

• Cold, with daytime temperatures ranging from 30s to 50s°F (0-10°C) and nighttime lows often dropping below freezing. Snow is possible, especially in the surrounding mountains.

What to Pack: 

• Warm Layers: Heavy coats, thermal underwear, sweaters, and warm pants.
